Ambition is the grand enemy of all peace.

I was a young man living at home with nothing to do in what authors call 'comfortable circumstances.' But I was wicked enough not to be comfortable. I was full of energy and vigor and of the discontent that goes with unemployed activities. Everything seemed wrong to me.
