Mc-9JA was born Victor Bade Mokelu on the 22nd of August, into a loving family. His late mother was a successful Accountant & his father an engineer. Mc-9JA is the first & only son of two children. From an early age he had his heart set on becoming a musician. While in secondary school he performed in His schools music competitions grabbing awards under the alias MAKAVELI. After graduating from secondary school he told his mother he wanted to become a musician, but his mother advice him to grab his university degree first before jumping into the music scene. In early 2008 he changed His name to Mc-9JA from McVELI. He also changed His kind of music after studying the NIGERIAN {NAIJA} Music Scene properly. Years of studying the industry and refining his skills, has helped him develop his musical ideology and style. His powerful use of the PIDGIN language and his lyrical abilities sets him apart from most artists in his genre and in his opinion is what makes him Mc-9JA. Mc-9JA, is set to impress and win all comers keen. He believes he is a poet & a natural born leader. He is a graduate of Public Administration from the prestigious Nasarawa State University Keffi. He is from Kogi State, Lokoja L.G.A.
