Have you ever been in a place where you felt you didn"t belong? If your answer is yes then I would say welcome to my world. most of the places I have been to have been places where I felt like i didn"t belong, I feel like a strange passing through, recieved warmly but knowing that no sooner is he gone than he will be forgotten by most of those who he met.
Many belong in this category, truth be told at some point or the other we will find ourselves in this category, for instance one may be a youth corper posted to serve in a community, the poeple are friendly enough and perhaps after a couple of months you make friends who you feel comfortable with and think you would like to keep in touch with after you leave the place but when service is over and you return to where you came from give it a couple of years then go back and visit and you will find out that not many would remember you again and some of those who used to say a word of greeting as you passed in front of hteir abode while you still lived among them might not even give you a second glance, such is life. Don"t let it get to you because you have made memories while you were there which will stay with you for the rest of your life and you can always call up those memories from time to time and smile too yourself about them. Besides we all our own place where we truely belong, where we are comfortable, where we are recognised, where we are loved for who we are and not what we are, there we are defined and we are not a stranger, ther you are you and I am I.
So anytime you find yourself in the place of a stranger,embrace it make wonderful memories, meet nice people and enrich yourself futher knowing that though you may be forgotten when you leave you have your place which will always remember you.
