Swazer (born David Chinonso Nwaeze) is an 18-year-old vibrant music artist from Abuja, Nigeria, known for his soulful voice, raw emotion, and energetic stage presence. Blending the rhythmic soul of Afrobeat with the heartfelt melodies of Afro-soul and R&B, Swazer brings a fresh, emotionally charged sound to Nigeria’s rising new wave of Afro-inspired global music.
From leading his school choir at a young age to stepping into the studio with bold confidence, Swazer's journey into music has always been rooted in purpose and passion. With a unique ability to infuse his music with real-life emotions and relatable messages, his songs resonate deeply with listeners navigating ambition, love, pain, and hustle.
His debut single “Hustle” showcases his lyrical strength and signature voice over rich African rhythms — a motivational anthem that speaks to the urgency of chasing dreams in a world full of delays and expectations. Swazer’s music carries a strong narrative voice, making every line feel like a piece of his personal story.
Beyond sound, Swazer is a multi-layered creative — blending music, animation, and digital storytelling into compelling visual projects, such as the upcoming AI-animated video for his love song “Stacy.” As he prepares for a larger rebrand and professional distribution under a premium artist name, Swazer continues to build his presence across platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Genius, and more.
With a growing fanbase, a polished brand logo featuring a crowned golden ‘S’ and microphone, and a deep sense of artistic identity, Swazer is carving his place in the future of African music — not just as a performer, but as a voice for emotion, culture, and creative expression.
