Joel Phillips Obi, is a Nigerian Gospel Artist - A Songwriter | Singer | Music Minister | Instrumentalist. Joel Phillips is an Author and a Music Director who has lead various Gospel Bands of different Ministries across Nigeria and he's currently the Director of Kingdom Rain Music - KRM. Joel Phillips is a Music Minister divinely endowed with various Gifts. He's a Prophet by Calling endowed. Joel Phillips is a member Christ Embassy Church who grew up and was trained from Assemblies of God Church from birth. He grew his music carrier from his Church Choir. He has coordinated a musical band team in Assemblies of God Church, RCCG, Holy Ghost & Power Int'l Ministry (HPIM) and Christ Embassy Church in Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria. Joel is from Cross River State Nigeria. He presently resides in Lagos, as he grows his Music Ministry and Propagate the Gospel. Joel released his first Album Titled; "Total Surrender and Gratitude" in 2016. He has "I Give You My Heart" and "We Adore You", as his hits. Joel Obi was lucky enough to descend from a family of five offsprings, of which three, are "boys" and two, are "girls". Joel woke up with a highly interesting influence and passion for music as a result of a divine instinct endowed in his family line. …His father, Mr. Philip Obi Danor, was skillful in playing the fluid, and singing in his early time; His two brothers - Mr. Jacob Obi (eldest), and Mr. Matthew Obi (immediate), are good singers and skillful players of musical instruments, as they emerged from Assemblies of God Church Choir. Joel's two beloved sisters - Miss. Regina Obi(eldest), and Miss. Deborah Obi, are also good and melodious singers. Joel's passion for music in his childhood, lead him into figuring a wooden bass guitar, which he practiced with, due to unavailability of guitar and his deprived interest from reaching a bass guitar when inspirations comes …God has always been with Joel Obi, and always inspire him with new songs through dreams and visions, and each time he goes to God in prayers, God fills him with New Songs.
