Hello pals, I'm a yoruba guy in my late 20s from a muslim home but to d grace of God I'm now a christian. I've been in akwa ibom for close to 7yrs plus, working as a public servant and to the grace of God I've been the one taking care of my parent and siblings till date. Meanwhile, she hasn't ‘ seen any of my parent or siblings b4 bur dey do talk on phone once in a while so, I decided to inform my parent on what I'm planning and I'm gonna bring her home to introduce her to den but dey kick against it dat I can't marry her cus she is not my tribe, I disagreed wit dem that dey av no choice than to accept her or else I will blank myself from dem totally b4 dey reluctantly accpeted it but still sayn dey are not pleased wit my decision to cut d long story short, somtime dis year I followed d girl down home to her parent for introductn and collect d list in prepartn of our wedding wit som of my colleagues n friends without telling my parent cos if I do dey might delay d movement, we did d intro n it was successful n we started full preparation by buyn d weddn materials n oda tins to d point of wantn to print our weddn card n I decided to call n tell dem my plan n ask dem for our town name to b printed on d card, dat was were my parent flared up n say it over their dead body dat I went for introductn witout dere consent just becos dey refuse me marring d girl of my choice dat they've not even met with nor d parent how do I expect dem to be present in such occassion n I told dem I'm gonna com with her b4 d weddn so dey can meet wit her but dey refuse dat if I'm still insistn of marryn dis girl we av to shift d date of our weddn till next year n if it does not go down well wit my fiancee she can leave me dat dere are 1001 girls outside dere waitn to get marid n she must be my tribe.
