Dolamite aka The Seeker, as step up his campaign with his return to the reggae music scene, in the UK and Europe and has announced the release of a brand new mix tape “ Hustling Is My Survival†which is hosted by multi award winning Dj Rudie Rich
The mixtape is completely free to all fans and available everywhere via digital download.
"I am thrilled to have this new mixtape out," The Seeker said. "I've been working hard in the studio on a lot of new stuff and I think people are going to be very happy and very surprised by some of the music on there." Not giving too much away one can expect some hot remixes plus a band new track with dancehall superstar Mavado.
The Seeker burst on the scene in 2006, when he work with Billboard's dancehall artist such as Movado, Vibes Kartel, Serani and Toni Matterhorn Since then he has graced many stages across Africa and Europe. A native of Jamaica, still with many ties to the country; The Seeker now resides in Wembley, West London. But The Seeker has never been one to let where he was define his music or style.
The Seeker brings a wide range of experiences to his music. He has been lucky to escape the fate of a lot of his friends, who have died as a result of street life. And unlike a lot of other Reggae artist, who talk about being street soldiers, The Seeker has actually been a street soldier.
Releasing of “Hustling is My Survival†is a way of re- introducing himself to fans and new listeners to some of his latest music. He is a prolific writer /producer/artist and has a lot to say so it is not surprising that he can release a mixtape with a brand new EP to fallow in a few months time and still have more to release on the upcoming album, to be release next spring. The Seeker’s music is about real life, what he's been through and what people from walks can relate to. He is not a typical reggae artist, and rather than glorify street life, The Seeker draws on his experiences from the streets, but mixes that with positively and meaningful lyrics.
""My music is a reflection of the good and bad times that I have been through, from my childhood to manhood", says The Seeker.â€My music is truly I. I hold nothing back because that is what I feel music should be. It's honest.
