As Eche returns to the village after being away for a while, he secures a teaching job in the village school as a French teacher. He dazzles his students with his excellent fluency in the French language, but as a matter of fact what he is teaching his class is anything but French, and the people know next to nothing about the subject. Then the bubble burst the day people from the education ministry came for inspection.
