Godwin has been a source of help to his brother, but his brother never seems to stand on his own, he’s always coming back for more money. His persistent asking has reached a point where Godwin could bear it no more; he comes hard on his brother and refused to assist him again, and asks the gateman to throw him out of his compound. His brother sees this as an affront, and set out to avenge this humiliation in the most gruesome way possible.
