Early Life
Born KOLADE IMORU, also known as K-Money was born in EBUTE-METTA, Lagos State, Nigeria. He lost his father at an early age of 2 years, therefore left with his elder sister to be both raised by their mother. He spent his childhood staying with his Grandmother in SHOMOLU, BARIGA Local Government Area. At the age of seven he experienced a big fraction on his right arm due to fighting with two fellow students at school. His mother later got a job as a hostel mistress at a school M.A.C.I. due to certain differences K had to go live with his cousins in KETU, ALAPERE. He had dropped out of College and the street was claiming him, he later enrolled in a tutorial centre and was able to get an SSCE certificate. Shortly after an attempt to get an admission into a Nigerian University failed, travelling abroad became the next available option.
Abroad
On getting abroad, K joined a Force company where he was sent to the Dubai Police Academy and also worked with Soldiers, while doing these aside K was also studying at Cambridge International College a branch in Dubai there he got his Diploma in Business Management, also he got involved in other side attraction business operations (Hustles) and while he was doing these he had falling in love with rap music and recorded several mix-tapes.
Discography
On a holiday trip back to Nigeria, he decided to stay back and concentrate his career as a rapper rather than going back as a Force. In early 2011 he did his first track ‘Ride and Ball’, the track was just made to be an introduction and awareness to the industry but the track has received a great underground buzz and his hyped to be his first official single. K has other track he recorded in half of 2011 titled ‘Chop Chains’.
Controversies
K-Money had hidden issues with past friends and ex-girlfriends has they think because he had went abroad he is not holding it down no more, these is expressed in his song ‘Chop Chains’. K also got involved in a beef with a guy called Richie P. in a club, their has been no eruption from both sides but K promises to unleash the issue in a rap. Also while planning for his first video shoot in December he had a very fatal accident that fractioned his left arm, he spent five months receiving treatments, K had also escaped two accidents earlier that same year.
