Tanzania/ Uganda upcoming reggae artiste Aggie Cox recently signed a management contract with TMD Records from the United Kingdom. TMD Records will now handle all aspect of Aggie Cox musical career.
"I am looking forward to work with TMD Records, they are really professional, they represent a lot values that us young artistes looks for and I like the way they do things, that's why I decided to work with them. TMD Records is a new label but have being very instrumental in the development of number of upcoming artists, if you look at Tenza for e.g. She as being doing very well on the international arena, maybe the most tour female reggae artist in 2011, which say a great deal about TMD Records and their structure. I have a lot of confidence in that company because it’s operated by persons who are very professional and knows a lot about the music industry," said Aggie Cox.
Aggie Cox stated that now she has make the decision to put a professional team in place to handle the administrative areas of her musical career, she is now looking forward to taking her musical talent far beyond the shores of the dark continent and to new heights, as she can now concentrate fully on making music.
"As an young and upcoming artist, doing everything yourself is good but it can be very tedious. Being your own manager a lot of people don’t really take you serious of what you are about and what you want to achieve. So now that am a pat of the TMD family I have a lot of time to concentrate more my witting skills and learn to understand my voice more, so I can make music that not just applies to the east of African community but to a global audience.
Aggie Cox is currently promoting a brand new single titled “ Sweet Mama”, taken from her upcoming album due to be released this coming spring, “ Sweet Mama” was produced by Ugandan producer kintu Kron Ronald on is available on itunes from the 6th of February.
“Sweet Mama” official video is now in rotation on a number of televisions online and in east Africa.
