Marissa started playing music from a relatively young age, imagine she was only 12 years old when she wrote her first song. At the age of 16 years organized the first concert (which for the small town where she is coming from was something very strange and admirable at the same time!) She said then to friends that " hip hop is not just music and rhythm, are words with meaning, it is revolution!" Then she was more known as the First Lady , the female underground mc. Later on, around 2006 she started also djing and singing as well. She is a humanitarian, and has participated in many festivals against racism, the biggest antiracism act she had was in Cyprus on RAINBOW festival with Mc Hajimike and Sofoz Mc (winner of best rapper in Cyprus on 2006). On August 2014 she began writing her first book called “We are all humans” based in true life stories of immigrants , it’s a book, unfinished yet, dedicated to the people who lost their lives on the way to their “freedom” She has worked as a dj in many clubs in Greece and Cyprus (most known club Cosy in Greece – the underground “ghetto” Nigerian club – next to her mentor DJLAND.. Also in Cyprus in SCORPIO club (the well-known Wednesday rnb parties are still on!) She has collaborations and been in the same studio with many artists, producers and djs. Some of them are : Lady Morty (Black Piranhas Uk – So Solid Crew) , DjLone, DjLand and DjFocus (Liberal Crew) , Spiros Metaxas (producer) , Solon Zenetzis,.. and many more. She is a songwriter, producer, lyricist and vocalist at the same time! Her songs are coming from her life stories.. even though, she says that she is not yet wrote her best track. She has also participated in X FACTOR which she just abandoned later on just because “ I’m too much for this show. Everything is pre-cooked , I don’t like this shit” that was her words on Star Channel TV in the main news. In 2010 she had an explosion in her career , working with the Magic Brass Orchestra (Live orchestra which counts almost 50 members) singing Jazz and Soul all over Greece in small and bigger stages such as the INTERNATIONAL BAND FESTIVAL. At her show in Mass Club that year , with GEE LE PAPA (Guinness Record holder as Dj) she met her husband and decided to take a break from music and become a mother and wife. From 2011 till 2013 she started working as a radio producer at a local radio holding her every day 3h live show which was complete success and loved by the crowd. That period she decided o move to another level, to take a big step and go to another radio station,that was her big explosion as a radio producer,later on she became the manager of the radio station, fixing all the programs , apart from that also, she was inviting new artists to present their work in events so people will know them. .she also worked at ENA CHANNEL on tv as news reporter with great success. Now, 2014 after her divorce, we see Marissa as a strong single mom fighting for her music ambition and also human rights. She is performing alongside LIBERAL CREW in Cosy Club – Athens twice a week and also participating as opening act in famous Nigerian artists such was the show with KCEE in Athens.
