Israel Peters aka ANOGIRI is a musical artiste born on the 15tth of December into the family of Mr and late Mrs Peters of Okpella town from the Northern region of EDO State, Nigeria, West Africa. Occupying the 5th position of a family of six children, he studied computer science at the University Of Abuja, Nigeria.
His love for music and dance spurned from his early days as a child and was nurtured over the years. His musical career hit limelight after the release of his hit songs OYIBO, YOU NO KNOW ME and NA YOU KNOW and subsequently his debut album IGNITION on October 2010. .Majority of his songs hit number 1 spot on release and videos toped chat within and outside Nigeria.. His followership became enormous due to his new kind of genre (afro and dance) as he calls it which is rendered in traditional pidgin English..This has endeared millions all over the world to his music.
