Papilo has been appointed as a special adviser on sports issues to the Imo state government. Incase you guys missed it, after the meeting and greeting with the new Imo state governor at the kanu testimonial match - they proceeded to a gala that night.

The announcement was made during the Gala night, by Rochas Okorochas, the current Imo state governor

Former Nigeria World Cup skipper Nwankwo Kanu has been appointed a special adviser on sports to newly-elected the Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha.

    Okorocha announced Kanu’s appointment at a special dinner in honour of the former Arsenal and Inter Milan star, who called time on his international career at the weekend in Lagos.Okorocha was a special guest of honour at the Kanu testimonial.

NEWS:
Kanu Nwankwo has recently penned a 4yr-loan-deal with Imo SG, club chairman, Mr. Rochas Okorocha, announced during a press conference.
The deal which wil see him serve in the club's ranks till 2015 came shortly after he announced his retirement from international futbol with a testimonial match played at the Teslim Balogun stadium, Lagos.
Sources gathered dat he wud return 2 Abia SG wen the loan-deal expires.
Financial details of the deal were not yet available at press time. Grin
