Tuesday's friendly match between Ghana and Nigeria at Watford's Vicarage Road has been called off over safety concerns.

Several Carling Cup games had already been postponed and England were forced to cancel their friendly with Netherlands at Wembley following the recent rioting in England.

An event organiser had said earlier in the day that the Ghana vs Nigeria match was due to go ahead as a significant police presence would not be required, but the Ghana FA has now confirmed the game will not take place.

"We have just been informed by the match organisers about the latest decision, calling off today's friendly with Nigeria at Watford," executive committee member Randy Abbey said.

That is a good one, after all the rioters are criminals stealing in the name of riot, Its better before they steal Samson Siasia's Money again.

Africans, Africans when we will learned our lessons, when we going to grow up and do things in our own way, why must we be leaving under the shadow of the western world....Nigeria Vs Ghana soccer game was cancelled due to riot in London..WTF.Why should a soccer game involved two Africans countries be played in London...have we ever witnessed two Europeans country come to our beloved Continent African to play a friendly game?. The answered is hell NO,,,So we are still under colonial controlled, I am very sorry for we Africans.
OK there are no good soccer stadiums in Africa Countries, or Africans cannot enjoy the game while played at home. oh ok we don't want to watch our national team no more....
