They are not very "happily married" then. DIVORCE! If the man is a wuss who has to show his strength by hitting a woman; or if the woman is a nagging lil' witch with a mouth that spews so much crap you wanna smack her for it... save yourself the stress of "marriage" and split!
That's my answer for every crappy relationship... move on!
