I am not against the actualization of the sovereign state of Biafra,as long as U know ur boundary.If U are going with the 5 states in the South-East Geopolitical zone,no problem.Sai Gobe!The only problem I'll get with U people is if out of greedy,shortsightedness & a lack of any sense of history U decide to drag or force the Niger Delta into ur proposed state.
Now Mr. Biafra now let's get realistic & serious.The idea of a Biafra nation is ridiculous & Utopian.Now dont get me wrong.I am still on ur side.But the REALIST in me must make this clear to U,so U can educate others of the faults in the idea.Now,I'll show U why.
DEMOGRAPHY & GEOGRAPHY:The first reason why Biafra will be a disaster is that,the Igbo population is far bigger than the Igbo land.To add salt to the injuries,a Biafra state would be landlocked.You do not ve access to international waters.You'll be like Lesotho,that takes permission from South Africa before a plane can fly out of it.However,Urs would be marine.Since U dont ve access to the sea,U cannot ve a Navy,U cannot import goods via the sea.I wonder what kind of a state the Ibo man that's a trader can build without Marine transport for importation.
POLITICS:A Biafra State would be like the theater for political Mortal Combat.Traditionally,the Igbo man does not recognize anybody as a leader.They love freedom.So the quest by some to become the hegemons in that state would lead to civil wars.Do not forget that the Ibos are not a monolithic whole.There are different Ibos.There is the Onitcha Ibo,the Arochuckwu Ibo,the ka Ibo etc.They all see themselves are different people.Each sees itself as the true Ibo man.So imagine having all these Ibos in one country where there is no other ethnic group to oppress them.
HISTORY:The Ibos need all the other ethnic groups around it to achieve its dream state.However,during the colonial times,when the nation had 3 regions & the Ibos ruling the Eastern Region,they(Ibos)where very wicked to the various ethnic groups in that region.That's why those people asked the colonial masters to create their own states for them before they left.However,this did not happen & Ibo domination & wickedness continued.So when the Civil War broke out,in other to get these people's support,Gowon created states for them.So they helped frustrate Ojukwu's efforts.That is a major reason why Biafra failed in the first try.If U said Ur father fought,as him & if he's truthful enough,he'll tell U.The people in the South-South can never go back to Igbo slavery.They dont like PAX IBONICA.They'll fight with the last drop of their blood to risist any attempt by the ibos to add them to Biafra.The Federal Govt dont even have to ask for their support against Biafra.They would do the honors willingly.Their historical grudge against the Ibos is enough to inspire them to fight the Ibos to a stand still.

In conclusion,I am not against the idea of a people freeing themselves from oppression & internal colonialism.I am not against the Igbo people having their state.However,they should stay their lane.Any attempt to add the Niger Delta would spell doom for all their effort.
Biafra is a dream.However,it might not be a good one.
