This is one of the dumbest questions ve seen here. What is the nexus between moral and a man's right to contest elections? There is a big diff between christain religious morals & politics. So they should be kept that way.

I don't think The Truth really saw through my question. Morals, like Khadija said should nt even come into it as far as d naija political context is concerned. what i intended 2 say is despite all our president's hue and cry over the rule of law and due process, should Imoke not have been compelled to step down even if the PDP had no other candidate to re-run?
Nigeria is sick, that we all know but it's fast dagenerating towards comatose and anarchy. Should we allow the rot to continue unabated?
Rudyard Kipling said "D problem with a Kitten is that,
Eventually it becomes a cat"
Well, na all of us go dey here when naija becomes another zimbabwe (God forbid),

I strongly agree with this speaker.Since Ur question is based on Nigeria,he is right. If U know all these about Nigeria, why ask a morality question?Pls not that there is nothing like the Rule of Law in Nigeria. If there is,Ya'Adua would not ve appointed Service Chiefs without the confirmation of the National Assemble.Even if we had rule of law in operation in this country, there is a big difference between Morality & rule of law.So I dont see the merit of this discuss.

Morally you said its left for him but as long as the law gives him a right to re-run, even if he has stole the whole world, he can re-run.

With a Quick-Reply you can use bulletin board code and smileys as you would in a normal post, but much more conveniently.
