Who says NYSC should be trashed? Has it outlived or underlived its purpose?

What do you think guys?

What do you think about the whole system-Call-up, Age Limit, Posting,  Resumption, Registration, Kits And Kitting, Parades, Primary Assignment, Certificate Errors and all that it embodies?

Share your thoughts!

NYSC shouldnt b scrapped in my opinion, rather it should be improved.Till date its d biggest unification tool in 9ja.most people in Lag were born and bred in Lag, schooled in Lag.NYSC was d only thing that let them have a feel of other parts of 9ja..I had so many friends like that. if we wanna continue as 1 nigeria, then we need NYSC a lot............the re-organisation should be in my opinion a sought of mini enterprenueral scheme which should sustain the graduates even after the service. In the absence of a job , the graduate can continue to sustain a living.

As a member that just finished service this year, sincerely it should be scrap bcos is more or less wasting of years. Or it should just be limited to that three weeks camping bcos that's just only fun part of it.

NYSC scheme has so much been abused such that its objective can no longer be realized. Although there are still some few benefits that come from the programme, but d cost outweighs the benefit. So what else are we talking about. NYSC is just but a beautiful nonsense.

I think it needs reformed. I mean it's like a one year work placement or internship. It's vital, but the kinks need to be worked out... not scraped completely.

With a Quick-Reply you can use bulletin board code and smileys as you would in a normal post, but much more conveniently.
