which business can you invest in? Simple question that requires answers like: invest in- (1) pure water business, etc. but you are all talking theory, naija!!! theory too much. Like father like Son, the politicians will come to the media and say thesame thing in line of theory. What business can you invest in another answer- (1) Practice Politics with P_P political party, reason- invest little lies and political thugs and you gain unexecutable project in millions of dollars. Another good answer and not all those theories. Who no go School?

You all are great. pls are there investment opportunities in the entertainment industry.
Welcome to this forum, Franchise and jennymoon. There are opportunities everywhere. What u need to do is to think out of d box. The Nigerian Entertainment Industry is still growing, so there are great opportunities. Just think of which area u've strong passion. That is the KEY. Ur passion will make u do well. So identify ur PASSION and go for it. I believe Richiemontana will advice u more since he is in the industry. Good Luck.

But investing in shares in Nigeria is not risky as regards the dubious character of the stock brokers?
Or has the attitude started changing for good

Nigeria is a potential market for every investor worldwide. There are a whole lot to invest in. But it depends on your capital base. Telecommunication is one of them, but do you have the financial muscle to do it. Another one, Real Estate/Property (as in Land acquisition, building of houses). Import and Export of Hospital Equipments, Clothings etc. Menn, there are a lot you can invest in. If you are actually serious about this, you can get in touch, let's discuss further.

Invest in nigeria?? The best thing to do is keep your money and wealth in the bank rather than invest and loose all that you invested. Ya'll know what am talking. Face the fact.

Well, well well, we really can have some funny contributions. Interestingy, most people in our country think like jerry-york; they think it is better to keep their money safe (inside their pillow, calabash, underneath a tombstone etc) than to invest it in any business whatsoever. That is the very reason they remain poor. See my friend, for as long as ur money stays where u keep it, u r getting poorer by the day - the mere factor of inflation will reduce its value. But if invested in solid investment vehicles and/or businesses, you can be sure, that all things being equal, u will at least add over 60-80% to its value and as been proven in recent times, over 200 - 300 % within 6months.
Well, then again, thatz the reason why business is not for everyone. So, fo me, my first advise to anyone asking about business is this: can u stomach the pain, trauma, headaches and high BP you might face if you lose? If u can't, pls don't even venture into business.
I rest my case for today!

Jerry-york, u've a wrong mind set. keep ur money and wealth in the bank and it will will yield u greater profit. There is no where were there is no measure of risk. Do u still remember the SAVANAH BANK issue? Millions of Naira was lost because people left their money there. Some of them would ve prefer to invest that money in biz. Think of it.

There are a lot of opportunities in the entertainment industry... this is one industry that is so wide that you can specialise in one. Example: event organising modeling & modeling agency/management artiste management music, dancing, movie making sound equipment leasing, stage equipment leasing, lighting effects, digital photo studio for models photo sessions, recording studio..... dis are just to mention a few. It depends on your area of interest.
