There are series of Biz u can invest in. But u need to be sure of ur ability to do biz. Don't start thinking of what to get, but to first think of what to put in for a successful biz. I'm a Biz Developer and will recommend a Polethene Production. I know why i said this. Just find the basic truth and with the right attitude u're on ur way to success. Cheers.

do you know of any you can recommend?so we can start carrying out all the studies..... Like someone suggested...investing in polythene bag production is a viable biz. Some of the other business I may recommend are as follows: 1. Sachet water (popularly called Pure Water) 2. Matches production 3. Agriculture ( Catfish Farming/Poultry Farming) 4. Shares There so many other business u can invest in, it depends on ur projection ....and how much you are ready to put in. Regards.

I also recommend you build a business plan before you enter into any business venture. You need to be able to answer these questions:
1. What is my product or service? Be able to define in specific detail. 2. What does it cost to produce this product / service? Materials, resources, time/wages, etc. 3. What is the cost to run the business? Lease, insurance, accountants, lawyers, etc. * Include marketing budgets, warehousing, distribution, code compliance work, etc. 4. What is the market for my product/service? Do your research. Due diligence is your responsibility. * Current spending for this type of product / service in the market today. * Possible market share I can obtain. * Look for publicly held companies that offer a similar product / service. Look at their income statements and other financial documents. Intuit.com is great for Management comments. 5. How will I price my product / service? * What is the current price for similar product/services? 6. What is my marketing plan? 7. Can I break even in three years' time or less?
Planning is very important in any biz.

A Good Feasibility Studies using the following feasibilty factors will help: 1. Financial Factor (availability of funds to carry out the project 2. Technological Factor > Equipments needed-are they readily available? > The maintenance requirements 3. Legal Factor > Is the business legally permitted in the country? 4. Social/Political Factor > Is the socio-political situation creating an enabling environment? > Is there security of investment? 5. Economic Factor > Examine the market forces of demand and supply 6. Environmental Factors > This talks about the zoning ordinance in terms of the location of the business. Is it a commercial, residential, industrial area e.t.c. > How close will it be to the Central Business District * It is important to note that all these factors MUST be positive (i.e favourable) for any business to really survive. CHEERS!

The book ''Rich Dad, Poor Dad'' by Robert Kiyasoki says that if u're doing something that would not add to ur asset colum, u better stop it. That is something i learnt. If something would not add value to my life, i have to stay away. Anyway, Richiemontana, i'm happy u learned something from my post, and i did too from urs. U said u're into Entertainment & Info Tech biz. I believe this one will help to add value to ur biz. I mean BIZ NETWORKING. Networking is an invaluable tool that anyone in the business world can utilize. Effective networking can be your best form of marketing, as well as being extremely affordable. To give a definition of networking, networking occurs when there is a planned event or gathering with the primary goal of connecting with others. The purpose of networking can vary based on one's own agenda, yet the primary focus is to meet people, and have people meet you. In other words, you have the opportunity to market yourself and your business in a relaxed, social situation. This often proves to be a comfortable situation for all involved. ENJOY and wait for other post on this subject.
