why is it that most nigerian parents ,  especially the igbo ones refuse to teach their children igbo ,
when i asked some of my uncles and auntys they said its because " they don't want their children to have accents"
,  what is that suopposed to mean ? THEN when they see children like infants to teenhers speaking the language
they are amazed and i always hear "i wish " responses ,  why is that
i really dont get it ?

I speak Igbo fluently ... but I don't have an accent ... I think its wrong that they'll abandon our language and traditions  ... cos other tribes be teaching their kids stuff str8t from the womb tho ... I already made up ma mind ma kids gon do High school in Naija ... ( depending on how things are there as at that time ) ...

 Undecided Undecided Undecided

wells thats not me ooo, and im proud that i knw how to speak yoruba.....u will b surprised if u go bk to nigeria today most of the kids there dont knw how to speak their native language, they wanna learn english.....they dont knw what they missing

I swear ... they don't !!  Sad
