While I was in my secondary school in Nigeria, this strange phenomenom occurs a couple of times.
In between lessons or short breaks, a lot of us will be talking to each other at the same time (noise making).
All of a sudden everybody in the classroom will stop talking at the same time for some seconds for no reason.
Some students will then say an Angel just passed.
Can anyone explain this strange phenomenom?
Do you have similar experiences? (especially students based in the western world....UK, USA, Canada etc)

heh... Personally, Ive never experienced sth like that at school; however, if there's a sudden silence, we also do say in Poland that "the angel just passed"  |
