Like you said ''TOO MUCH'' everything must be taken moderately, when sugar is consum in excess it causes the following, Diabetes type 2, overweight, Atherosclerosis, panic attack,  adult acne. Can you now see too much sugar can cause harm to your body. Please try and cut the rate of your sugar intake.
