Really I have so much respect for the above mentioned name, she is one of women I wanted to be like, in the likes of boldness and brilliancy, but am begining to think if her present campaign of re-branding nigeria is worth it atall.

come to think about it, are we suppose to re-brand our country or are we suppose to rebrand our mentalities?, attitudes, our ways of lives among others? A country where only the rich will continue to get richer?, A country where those that apply for a job will not get rather , those that didnt will be called to pick up the job? A country where the top govt functionaries will acquire wealth for their 10th generation to come, leaving the poor one to continue in poverty? a country where those that we know as enemies of peace will continue to be in every new govenment? A country!, A country!!, A country!! to mention but few.

Tell me, instead of Dora to think of how to rebrand nigerian mentalities, she is busy rebranding nigeria. no wonder the senate president came very late with his entourage on the rebanding launching day, cos he felt its not important to rebrand our dear country.

My dear Dora, we know u as a woman with dignity, u performed extraordinary when u where nafdac head, though u are newbie in this communication ministry, try think out how naija will be better both for the rich and the poor. so help her God

Dora has lost a huge part of the respect I had for her by accepting this job.The position of the Minister of Information(as far as Nigeria is concern)is that of the official liar of the government.And the program is one of the biggest lies that's about being told;first,to ourselves,then to the rest of the world.The theoretical background of the so called rebranding program is based on the "appearance is more important than reality" paradigm of bourgeoisie marketing.It is based on an assumption that what really matters in like is appearance & not TRUTH or REALITY.Thus,Dora Akunyili has bought into the idea that what we REALLY are dont matter.We should(spend millions of dollars,in this hard times to) try to PAINT a good image of Nigeria to rest of the word.
I say,this is a wrong policy.The worst treason U can commit against yourself is LIE TO YOURSELF.And this is exactly what my 'good' Dora wants to do.As I stated in my status Quote in my profile in this site:"Be more concern with your character than your reputation.Your character is what you really are while your reputation is what others think you are.Since the worst crime you will commit against yourself is lie to yourself,man know thy self."Nigeria should be more concern with resolve the internal contradictions within its territory.Trying to launder our image is not the best solution.We should think of changing our ways.Yar'Adua should start to lead & stop sleeping & waking at intervals to make some of the worst decisions that government can ever make.
Let me not bore U with long writing.I will halt here for now.NIGERIA IS FOR US ALL.LET'S COME TOGETHER TO MAKE IT REALLY GREAT.AND NOT CLOWN AROUND IN THE CONFESSIONS SECTION OF THIS SITE.

IN  DORA AS MUCH AS I RESPECT THE PERSON OF MADAM DORA AND HER ADMINISTRATIVE ACUMEN AND ALSO HER TRACK RECORD, I FOUND IT DIFFICULT TO AGREE WITH HER REBRANDING DRIVE.
WE NIGERIANS ARE NOT BAD PRODUCTS AS IT IS ONLY BAD PRODUCTS THAT NEED REBRANDING.
SHE SHOULD REBRAND INSTITUTIONS ESPECIALLY THE POLICE AS SHE DOES NOT KNOW THE HAVOC THE DO ON THE ROADS.
