Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has publicly criticized his fourth baby mama, Nollywood actress Ashabi Simple, for failing to visit him during his recent arrests, despite her professed love for him.
Portable, known for his hit song "Zazuu," has faced legal issues on two occasions. The first arrest stemmed from a N14 million debt owed to his G-Wagon dealer, and the second involved allegations of assaulting a police officer.
In a video posted on Instagram, Portable expressed his disappointment with Ashabi Simple, accusing her of not standing by him during his difficult times. He lamented that while she often posts about him on social media and praises him publicly, she did not support him when it mattered most.
Portable alleged that Ashabi Simple was preoccupied with her film shoots and did not visit him at the police station during his arrests. He emphasized the importance of financial stability before engaging in relationships, advising his followers to prioritize making money over romantic pursuits.
This public outburst adds to the ongoing controversies surrounding Portable, highlighting the strains in his personal relationships amidst his legal battles.
