Joel Matip and Thiago Alcantara will not play again this season, with the duo leaving Liverpool as free agents in the summer transfer window. Diogo Jota misses out with a muscle injury, with his campaign coming to a premature halt.
Liverpool will shape up in a 4-3-3 formation against Wolverhampton Wanderers, with Alisson Becker in goal. Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson will start as the full-backs, and they will look to help out in the attack and provide defensive cover to the side. Boubacar Traore will start as the defensive midfielder, and he will look to protect the back four and break up opposition attacks. Hwang Hee-chan and Rayan Ait-Nouri will start in the wide areas. They will look to help out with their pace and flair.
