EFCC Drags Former Aviation Minister, Hadi Sirika, Brother to Court Over Fresh N19bn Fraud

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has filed charges against the former Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, his brother Ahmad Sirika, and his company, Enginos Nigeria Limited. They are accused of fraud amounting to over N19.4 billion.

The allegations involve contracts awarded by the Ministry of Aviation to Enginos Nigeria Limited, a company owned by Hadi Sirika's younger brother, Abubakar Sirika.

The arraignment of the Sirika brothers and the company is set to take place before Justice Belgore at the Federal Capital Territory High Court in Garki, Abuja today. This marks the second criminal charge the EFCC has brought against the former aviation minister.
