NSCDC Arrests Suspect, Afolabi Ojo For Alleged Rap3 Of 4-Year-Old Pupil In Ekiti State

In a disturbing incident, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has apprehended a suspect, Afolabi Ojo, for allegedly molesting a 4-year-old pupil. The mother of the young victim reported the incident at the NSCDC Command, revealing that the assault occurred on Olujoda Street in late April.

According to the victim's mother, her daughter confided in her about the incident, stating that the suspect removed her underwear and segxwally assaulted her. During questioning, the girl corroborated her mother's statement, providing details of the traumatic experience.

The suspect, however, has denied all allegations, claiming to be falsely accused. Despite this, a medical examination was conducted on the young girl, and the report confirmed a ruptured hymen, indicating segxwal assault.

Tolu Afolabi, the Public Relations Officer of NSCDC in Ekiti State, confirmed the arrest and stated that an investigation into the matter has been initiated. The NSCDC is working to ensure justice for the young victim and her family.

This incident highlights the need for increased vigilance and protection of children in our society, and the authorities are urged to take swift action to prevent such incidents in the future.
