In a candid revelation, Nigerian singer Zlatan Ibile shared how his encounter with his senior colleague, Olamide changed the course of his life, leading him to Davido.

In a recent interview, Zlatan Ibile revealed a pivotal moment in his career that significantly changed his life.
He shared how he persistently reached out to Olamide through DMs, pleading for a meeting.

After winning a car at school and funding a collaboration with Oritse Femi, Olamide noticed his efforts and followed him.

Impressed, the YBNL boss reached out, paid for his lodging, and promoted his song, marking a major turning point for Zlatan.

One day, he saw Davido enjoying his music online, which thrilled him. He then sent Davido a heartfelt, lengthy message.

In response, Davido invited him over to his house, leading to their first collaboration on the song “Osanle.”
