On May 18, 2024, the boxing world will turn its eyes to Saudi Arabia for an unprecedented event in the sport’s recent history. Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury are set to collide for the undisputed heavyweight championship, marking the first fight of its kind since Lennox Lewis and Evander Holyfield battled for the title in 1999. The highly anticipated bout will begin at around 11 PM BST, under the stars of a nation that has increasingly hosted major boxing showdowns.

A staggering £150 million prize pot is set to be divided among the competitors, with Usyk, the Ukrainian champion, taking home a 30% share, amounting to £45 million. His counterpart, Britain's Tyson Fury, has pledged to donate £1 million of his earnings to aid war relief efforts in Ukraine, reflecting his commitment to humanitarian causes.

Additional Earnings and Economic Impact
Beyond their guaranteed purses, both fighters stand to gain substantially from pay-per-view (PPV) revenue. This additional income stream is expected to significantly increase their total earnings from the fight, depending on viewer subscriptions, which are anticipated to be in the millions worldwide.

No. This will be too glaring. I know the 2 fighters as I have followed them for at least a decade. Fury cant drop even a chicken recently, he lacks that punching power, Usyk has it. Usyk will also outbox him as the better boxer that he is if the fight should go to decision. Usyk has a stronger chin, at least, we have seen fury drop time and time again, even by an emergency boxer, Ngannou. So, the judges will literally put their jobs on the line to call it for Fury.
