In a heartwarming turn of events, three-year-old Olamide Taiwo, who was reported missing after his family car was stolen in Ikenne, Ogun State, has been found safe and sound in Owode-Onirin, Ikorodu, Lagos State.

The incident, which sent shockwaves through the community, occurred when a vehicle belonging to Taiwo Fayobi, with his young son inside, was stolen on Saturday. The Toyota Camry, bearing registration number PKA 446GV, was taken by two unidentified hoodlums while Fayobi momentarily stepped out of the vehicle to open his gate.

Confirming the distressing event, police spokesperson Omolola Odutola explained that the car theft transpired swiftly, with the engine running, leaving Fayobi's toddler trapped inside as the perpetrators made their getaway.

However, in a remarkable turn of events, a compassionate individual in Owode Onirin, Ikorodu, stumbled upon young Olamide Taiwo, who was found with the "Ikenne" tag still attached to him. Recognizing the gravity of the situation, the Good Samaritan promptly alerted the local police authorities.

Providing updates on the heartening discovery, Odutola informed the press in Abeokuta that the child was swiftly reunited with his family under the watchful eye of the law enforcement officers. Despite the joyous reunion, the whereabouts of the stolen red Camry remain unknown as efforts to locate the vehicle continue.
