Jobless Nigerian Facebooker Stabs Wife to Death !!

A Nigerian facebooker Arowolo Akolade L is alleged to have stabbed his wife to death and dismembered her body. Arolowo who prior to the sad incident was reported to have lost his job, took to domestic violence against his wife as a regular past-time until her sad demise on the 24th of June, 2011.

The Victim, his wife Titi, who worked for a Skye Bank in Nigeria was said to have been adviced by her family to leave the marriage but chose to stay; and met her waterloo.
According to her Sister: "They got married in November of 2008. I hear they've been having issues. He lost his job about two years ago. She had to be splitting her salary to sustain him.

I hear he beats her, but she did not tell her people. She however confided in one of our colleagues. She got home one day and saw that he had sold her car. When she confronted him, he said he needed money. It caused a serious issue that made her leave the house. Her father told her not to go back but she refused. On Friday last week she started her leave and told her people she would be coming for the weekend because her father stays in Ifako while she stays in Isolo with her husband.

She even paid the rent in Isolo - N1.3m recently. They didn't hear from her again that evening. Then they tried calling but she didn't pick. Her husband calls back to say they had a small misunderstanding that has been sorted out. They asked to speak with her, but he said she was doing something and would call back in two minutes. They didn't hear from them again. The neighbours however saw the husband jump through the window with blood stains and drove off; but since there was no scream or quarrel, they thought all was well. It was d next day they discovered her body. He even left the knife in her neck. She was stabbed severally in the face and chest, close to the heart. Horrific."

The suspect, Mr Arowolo Akolade L, whose last facebook status on the 23rd of June, a day before his birthday and the same day of the alleged killing of his wife, Titi, reads: “Father, thank you for the gift of life. I do not take this for granted. THANK YOU JESUS.”, ironically may have taken the life of another for granted. He is believed to be at large.
This sad incident brings to mind the recent case of the battery of his wife by one of Nigeria’s high profile foreign envoy and highlights the need for governments and civil societies to rise to the challenge to speak up against domestic violence and protect the rights of women.


I laugh in Russian for all those that form born again Christian and stay on facebook 24/7, their minds are horrible and their imaginations are endless; Imagine killing someone and doing a "thank you Jesus", only God knows his TRUE disciple!

this is really sad story, l don't believe the man really love her. the story sound like those in movies. despite the love and care of the woman the idiot still kill her. the man should be prosecuted for this horrible crime

I will always warn my Naija sisters, because your friends are rushing into getting married, that doesn't mean you should do the same. Imagine, a young girl with a good job been stabbed by her crazy husband! It's crazy! It's better for this girl to remain in pains while she is alive than to be taken away from this world! To my Naija girls, before you think of settling down to any man, try and consider his responsibility first before settling down with him. Don't ever pity any man out of his situation and consider him into your life. I will put the blame on the girl because she made a wrong choice in selecting a phyco into her life. It's not all guys that are good looking,driving a big ride or been caked up that are sane. Especially,the broke once,are more dangerous than you can image. They can Kill...Yeah, they can! So in case you have any broke man in your life that you are dating now, you better open your eye's or been STABBED TO death!

The moment a man  slaps his wife in a marriage, just forget it won't repeat it again! My Naija girls with good work or to all my independent ladies, Wake up! It's time for you to live your life to the fullest. Don't wait for any man to do your responsibility for you. What you know you can afford, pay for it.Live real! THIS IS SO SAD, WHAT A LIFE. HOW CAN ONE KILL THE ONE YOU SAY YOU LOVE???
SHE STAYED BECAUSE SHE WANTED A HAPPY HOME AND NOT A DIVORCED HOME, BUT TODAY WHAT SHE INTENDED FOR GOOD HAS TAKEN HER LIFE.
MAY HER SPIRIT HUNT HIM AND MAY HE NEVER SEE PEACE UNTIL HE JOINS HER......AFTERALL THEY SAY FOR BETTER FOR WORSE, SO HE HAS TO GO TOO.
