In an exclusive interview with Channels Television, the award-winning artist recounted the harrowing ordeal, recalling the moment when he faced imminent death at the hands of executioners. At that critical juncture, Buchi fervently called upon God for deliverance, making a solemn vow to dedicate his life to serving Him if spared. Miraculously, his prayers were answered, and he was spared from the firing squad.
“At a point in my life, we were lined up for execution. It is true that the people that were to execute us were kneeling before us, ready to fire. I called out to a God that I didn’t know that if He saves me, I will serve him. He saved me from that firing squad, and I devoted my life to serving him,” Buchi recounted.
This profound encounter with divine intervention has shaped Buchi's life and music career, fueling his unwavering commitment to spreading the message of faith and redemption through his music.
