LOOK AT YOU
I want to thank God and give Him glory for who He is because there is no one like Him. You see my friend, God is able to do anything because with Him all things are possible both those things that you and I can envisage (Matthew 19:26). Where we are now or that which we’re going through could make some of us to rebel. Really? Do you think that being rebellious will solve your problem?
Do not get me wrong because I know how painful it can be when we feel or are faced with a situation that makes it look as if God has abandoned us. No matter the situation, rebellion is not the answer and it can only worsen the situation.
Do not forget that God can use any vessel to accomplish anything that He wants done if you and I refuse to be used (Matthew 3:9). I’ll like to bring up two issues using these verses ‘Numbers 22:15-33.’
God does not contradict Himself so when you think God spoke to you; validate what you heard with the Word of God. In verse 20 we see God asking Balaam to go and do as he is asked to do by God. If Balaam had studied the Word, he could have known that his mission was not approved by God based on Genesis 12:3. God can reveal His decision to even a donkey if you’re not ready to apply the wisdom and Word of God to your situation (verses 22 to 27).
There is nothing that you can do without an approval from God. The donkey not only saw the Angel while Balaam could not but spoke (verses 28-30). Watch some unusual things happening around you because God could be trying to tell you something. ’32. The angel of the Lord said to him, “Why have you struck your donkey these three times? Behold, I have come out as an adversary, because your way was contrary to me. 33. But the donkey saw me and turned aside from me these three times. If she had not turned aside from me, I would surely have killed you just now, and let her live.”
You’re a vessel created by God to be used as long as you stay in line with the Word of God. See the reason why the Angel stood in Balaam’s way; ‘Behold, I have come out as an adversary, because your way was contrary to me.’ Despite his belief that he was going on God’s order, his inability to understand God’s Word made him to offend God.
If God sends you on a mission, He’ll provide for you and defend you. He is God and can do as He pleases to bring His will to pass. Do not always see hindrances as a proof that God is not in agreement because they could be what He is using to save you or redirect your path.
‘Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy loving kindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions (Psalm 51:1).’ Psalm 4:1&119:156.
Lord, I see and act as the carnal man and am an arm of flesh. Correct me with love, guard me and guide me so that I may not fall in Jesus name.
