After I had prayed for you and I for 2012, the Lord gave us a bible verse to enable us know that He’ll always be there in 2012 to fight for us. When one talks about the LORD and the Jews, you clearly can see; the Temple Mount, Jerusalem, and Israel as His epicenter. These three places are very important to God and He has promised to defend them no matter what anyone thinks.
Looking at our given bible verses Isaiah 29:6-9; ‘6. You shall be visited and delivered by the Lord of hosts with thunder and earthquake and great noise, with whirlwind and tempest and the flame of a devouring fire. 7. And the multitude of all the nations that fight against Ariel [Jerusalem], even all that fight against her and her stronghold and that distress her, shall be as a dream, a vision of the night. 8. It shall be as when a hungry man dreams that he is eating, but he wakens with his craving not satisfied; or as when a thirsty man dreams that he is drinking, but he wakens and is faint, and his thirst is not quenched. So shall the multitude of all the nations be that fight against Mount Zion. 9. Stop and wonder [at this prophecy, if you choose, whether you understand it or not; soon you will witness the actual event] and be confounded [reluctantly]! Blind yourselves [now, if you choose; take your pleasure] and then be blinded [at the actual occurrence]. They are drunk, but not from wine; they stagger, but not from strong drink [but from spiritual stupor].’
You as a child of God are like the epicenter. You’ve your soul, spirit, and body to Him. All three are jealously guarded by God and as we know, the devil is all out to win us and thereby destroying us; ‘The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows) (John 10:10).’ Just as the world might try to destroy Israel in the near future and God will save them, so has God promised us victory in 2012.
Let us not be drunk with strong drink or wine but be filled with the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 5:18; Philippians 1:11; Colossians 1:9). Since the road is clear for us in 2012, we must not take the way of drunkenness but seek the LORD and listen to His directives. The verdict is in and the LORD is standing by us as we enter 2012 but you alone can drive Him away by not yielding. There is no existing force that can stop Him from taking you to your desired destination in this year.
Forget about the negative things or junk things that the enemy is inputting into you especially reminding us about our short comings. When God forgives, He forgets. It is His Word and promise.
May we start this New Year with peace, love, God’s protection, prosperity, fruitfulness, and never move backwards or look backwards again in Jesus name? Looking back as Lot’s wife did brings destruction and death.
PRAYER POINT:
LORD, I claim those verses in Isaiah 29:6-9 especially verse 7. Let your love guide and guard me and my loved ones through 2012 and beyond in Jesus name. Amen.
