Bribe Destroys Nation Without Much Ado!

We cannot fold our hands to blame anyone for any mistake, as you said that “1914 amalgamation of the northern and southern Nigeria was a mistake”. The mistake has been done and what we need now is solution. Again your explanation of “a nation” was well understood but we cannot use it as an excuse for lack of peace in the country. Because I know that many countries have ethnic or tribal languages but still there’s peace within. Nigeria problem started during the tribal war 1960s and again since we have independent; the same people have been in leadership. There’s no age limit in Nigeria leadership; therefore they used “One Nigeria” as a slangs to entice the mind of those that dream to divide the country. Without oil found in Niger Delta, the country would have been spilt for the past decades. What are the works for our senators and law makers? Why they cannot choose presidential candidates from senate in order to get rid of contaminated and old blood from presidential seat? Someone who has criminal record still have post in Nigeria government today and even till tomorrow. No need to mention names (sigh!!!). Comedians has used many ways to tell Nigerian government how the nation looks like, but it does not enter their ears, musicians also did the same; all to no avail.

In addition; the reason why there’s no peace in Nigeria today is; tribal war in leadership. Our law makers and judiciary has been the worst office because they failed to prosecute anyone after he/she found guilty in bribery and corruption. Nigeria has set many panels to probe the entire past leaders and after probing, what happened. Is it hard for the law makers to prosecute anyone found guilty of bribery in order to set example to others? As we all know that “Bribery” is number one thing that destroy the nation. Why we cannot fight against it? Even our uniform men collecting it in the open places to prove that it has been in their blood and with that way, we will train our young generation. Nigerians, are you not afraid of tomorrow? If Nigerian will start today to punish anyone who breaks the law based on bribery, murder, armed robbers, vandalizing of government properties and et cetera, without siding him/her as someone who came from wealthy family or governor and I.M; the country will be at peace. :(
