MCFRN - Medical Comedian of The Federal Repulic of Nigeria. 9ija Spirit, Soul & Body His original name is Shittu Olugbenga Olusegun. He hails from Oka Akoko in Ondo State, from the family of six children, three girls, three boys. He was born on the 1st of August 1982. In 1998, he started as a stage actor in a Lagos-based drama troupe called United Artiste for Christ, where he was the General Secretary. While in the group, whatever roles he took, he always founds a comic angle to the character. For example, when he played the role of a Pastor, he would infuse funny mannerism to the character. He played a comic character, Ade, in a Soap Opera “Madam Bukky and Tenants” put together by the drama troupe which was aired on STV, Lagos and ITV in Benin for more than a quarter. On and on like that, he got funnier as he played more comic characters. That was how he professionalized as a comedian. Recently, he acted a Naija/Chinese Comedy Movie produced by a colleague of his. The movie stared the notable yoruba movie comic act, Dejo Tunfulu who paired with Dr. She Tu. Today, Dr. She Tu, mcfrn can hold his own amongst the best comedians in the land. Educational Background He attended his primary education in the year 1988 at Methodist Primary School Ewu-tuntun, Mafoluku in Oshodi from there, in 1994, to Oshodi Comprehensive High School in Oshodi. He grew up in Oshodi with his widowed mother. Presently studying Mass Communication at Lagos State Polytechnic, Ikorodu Campus, Dr. She Tu wants to major on broadcasting which would be plus to his prowess. The choice of his professional name, Dr. She Tu, mcfrn started when he was performing in a church and after the performance an old woman came to me and said “before I come this place, this morning, my body dey do me one kind, as I come, you make me laugh and because I laugh, my body don dey alright. You be Doctor” That was how the Doctor came in and he differentiated it from the general Medical Doctor everyone knows so he had to convert it to Medical Comedian and not Medical Doctor. One day he hopes to run a foundation that takes care of old women who are homeless, helpless and abandoned by their sons, daughters and the nation. So far, he has shared the same stage with the likes of Klint ‘D’ Drunk, Kofi, Omo Jesu, to mention a few. No time to dey check time, checking the time is typical waste of time...fink
