It feels good while you're in it, but the longer you stay in, the more wrinkled you get. Life is like dancing. If we have a big floor, many people will dance. Some will get angry when the rhythm changes. But life is changing all the time. Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand - strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOOHOO - What a Ride!" Life is rather like a tin of sardines - we're all of us looking for the key. Life is the sum of all your choices. Life is what we make it, always has been, always will be. Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we're here we should dance. Live with no excuses and love with no regrets. Look, I don't want to wax philosophic, but I will say that if you're alive you've got to flap your arms and legs, you've got to jump around a lot, for life is the very opposite of death, and therefore you must at very least think noisy and colorfully, or you're not alive. There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as if everything is. This life is yours. Take the power to choose what you want to do and do it well. Take the power to love what you want in life and love it honestly. Take the power to walk in the forest and be a part of nature. Take the power to control your own life. No one else can do it for you. Take the power to make your life happy. Time is the coin of your life. It is the only coin you have, and only you can determine how it will be spent. Be careful lest you let other people spend it for you. To live is so startling it leaves little time for anything else. To live remains an art which everyone must learn, and which no one can teach.
